Former Nigeria coach Christian Chukwu has revealed how Super Eagles will beat Iceland in their second game in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia on Friday.
Gernot Rohr’s side are hoping to redeem themselves against the World Cup debutant at the Volgograd Arena after falling 2-0 defeat to Croatia in their opening game at Kaliningrad.
Three-time African Champions have failed to win their opening match in the last tournament in Brazil drawing 1-1 with Iran before defeating Bosnia & Herzegovina 1-0 and losing the final 3-2 Argentina still qualify for the knocked stage.
"The boys must come out to put more efforts, especially in the attack.
"The Super Eagles attack should be more forceful so that we can cross over Iceland.
"And I think Nigeria can still qualify from the group but everything is still possible until after our second game.” Chukwu told Goal
The Super Eagles have only failed to make it to the second round of the quadrennial tournament in 2002 and 2010 editions.
