A Board of Trustee, BoT, member of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Engr. Buba Galadima, has stated that the party is not a political party.
He also asked President Muhammadu to resign and allow other Nigerians contest and take the country out of the current economic mess.
He said he would have de-registered APC if he were the INEC.
He made this statement on AIT’s “Focus Nigeria.”
The BoT member said he was baffled at how President Muhammadu Buhari had let the country down by keeping quiet in all the happenings around Nigeria.
Galadima was the National Secretary of the former Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, formed in the run-up to the 2011 national elections as a leading platform for former military ruler General Muhammadu Buhari, which later merged with ACN and others in 2015 to become APC.
Venting his disappointment on the Buhari’s admimistration, he said, “Since the advent of Buhari, APC has not been a party and has never followed their own internal rules and regulations.”
Commenting on Obasanjo’s letter, he said it “couldn’t have come at a better time.”
Galadima called on the president to “either resign and allow other Nigerian to contest and get the economy running since he is a shadow of himself being controlled by cabals running his government for him.”
