Madagascar’s Ahmad Ahmad has won the CAF Presidential elections, defeating Cameroon’s Issa Hayatou who has been in power since 1988 (29 years). Ahmad won the election 34 to Hayatou’s 20.
The Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki ongratulated Ahmad Ahmad. Saraki who called NFF President, spoke with the new CAF President and said that he was going to pass the good news to President Buhari.
Ahmad who is also the deputy Senate President of Madagascar visited Saraki when he came to campaign in Nigeria.
