Get a Perspective for your Life
"Those who get plans can run the journey of a thousand miles without getting tired "
Good morning once again this year. Thank God for the journey that has started. It's our prayer that God will lead us through this journey in Jesus name.
Today we want to bring to our notice, a cogent point that will help us have enormous achievement this year. The journey is not for the Strong neither it's for the fastest. But it's for those who are wise enough to possess their traveling rites. Among these traveling rites is perspective. This contains the direction and perimeter of where you are going. This journey of life has dimensions. These dimensions are differed from one person to another depending on the end point of individual's journey. In such this is like a map that leads to a destination. Everyone who desires to reach his/her goal must at least have it. It contains where, what and how your destination is. It will help you and guide you through the journey.
Brethren, in this a new year, have you drawn your plan? Do you have any goal at all? Have you made yourself a structure that your life should take? Do you have an ending to pursue? If no, you have to quickly get one now that is still early. People who run without plan can be easily wiped off. You must get something with you that will get you going. The secret of the best racer is not in his strength but in his mind, he creates the ending that keeps him going. Also you must get whatever you want to achieve from now. Don't be a fox that goes around without hope. Be equipped with a full dimensional structure that will help your journey. So, Let me show you how to get a structure:
1. Set your gaol : set a target for your life. Set something reasonable and achievable. This will enable you to see what you want to add to your life this year. Each goal you set takes you to a success point. So, your success depends on the goal you set.
2. Get what you need to do to achieve your goal: state in detail some steps you need to take to achieve your set goal. Analyse these steps and make sure you arrange them. They will let you know how to engage yourself throughout the journey.
3. Act your plan: you must act your plan. Put everything on your map in action. Don't stay idle on them. Your plan will not do itself, it is you that will do your plan. Be actionable. Work on those set goals and steps. You are the sailor, your plan is the ship.
4. Commit your plan to God: I think I will be a little bit spiritual here. You may not like it but this is the reality. You may have all your plan at hand but if there is no divine backup, you may badly end your journey. Commit your ways unto the Lord and they shall be established. God is the greatest assurance, I know.
As you go this year, may the Lord set your destiny out on purpose in Jesus name.
